I am a US citizen currently living in the US who was married to a Canadian & applied for the Family Class Immigration which was we cancelled when I got Divorced around two years ago as she was my sponsor & we also had one child together who was born in Toronto Canada & lives there with my ex & I have supervised visitations for two hours each Friday, Saturday & Sunday once a month. I now come to Canada for one weekend a month to see my child. I would like to please know if there is any type of immigration I could do where I would be allowed to enter Canada while in process.

There's no immigration program based on the fact you have a child in Canada. Your child will eventually be able to sponsor you for PR - but only once they are an adult, have worked for several years and meet minimum income requirements to sponsor a parent.

If you wish to immigrate to Canada, you will have to qualify and apply through an economic stream just like any other applicant. Detailed information is in the link below and I would recommend you start by researching the Express Entry program:

To Scylla so I guess the best option for me which will still allow me to come to Canada to see my child is to continue living in the US & coming to Canada once for the three day weekend once a month.

Yes, but you should explore Express entry. Depending on your professional qualifications, if you end up getting anywhere around 450 points, you can get a Canadian permanent residency within one year.

To jonnclk22. If I apply for Express Entry will I be able to enter Canada while in process?
Yes, I have done so multiple times by road at VT/QC border in st albans as well as by air when returning from travels in Peru to Montreal and then taking a greyhound back to Vermont while my application is under process through Express Entry. Never, even once, I was ever asked about it.

If I get approved of Express Entry & I lose my job I have to move back to the US?
No. Express entry will grant you Permanent residence - unrestricted work / living authorization. After 3 years, you can convert that to Canadian citizenship if you want. You can do all of this yourself, you don't need any employer or any other sponsor to start / complete the process.
