Hello,

I'm having a hard time finding specific answers regarding my situation.

I'm moving to Canada from The US with dual-citizenship in The US + Canada. I have my citizenship certificate, Canadian passport, and am applying for my SIN + getting my BC drivers license within 90 days of arriving.

In addition to that preparation, are there specific registrations I need to have to:
Work
Rent an apartment
Get Health Insurance

Most importantly, to MOVE to Canada from The US, what are the requirements for the border if I am entering Canada to move, and entering on my Canadian passport?

If anyone has gone through this and can help / advise on things to be aware of, that'd be great. Personal experience and/or websites/forums to look to are both welcome.

Thanks,
Alica

Hello,

If you need information about how to apply for a SIN, health card, employment, and housing, I recommend you to check this site nextstopcanada.ca They have a useful Q&A section as well as an online chat where you can connect with an information referral specialist to discuss different topics about settlement in Canada.

Good luck!
