Hi everyone,

I applied from a foreign country where I currently live (but not my citizenship country) and submit all documentation required for the ITA. Still waiting to get the final approval by CIC to receive my permanent residence (PR). My question is: what happens if I move to another country before being assigned the PR? Would this be an issue? (For instance, in the event of having to receive physical mail, or having to attend an embassy in person)

Thanks in advance for your input

You are anyways required to update them about address change. So I suggest you drop them a not ethrough case specific enquiries that your address has changed.

When you get the PPR, the first Step is to acknowledge that your address or living condition hasnt changed. If it has you are supposed to inform them before submitting your passport. So you can either wait for PPR and inform them then, or proactively tell them already.
