Hello guys

My wife is sponsoring me through the outland process, but I'm already here in Canada with her.
We filled up all the documents with my previous address in Montreal, but now we moved to Québec City.

Should I contact CIC to make the changes? Someone wrote once that it can delay your process. I know that in e-cas there's one part to change your address.

Any answer will be welcome.

Yes - you should contact CIC to change your address, especially if you're from a visa-exempt country, as your passport won't be required, they will send the COPR directly, so you want to make sure that your address is correct.
To change your address, log into ecas (if she has been approved as a sponsor already), then there is a link to update your mailing address. Follow that, it will take you to the website to make a "case specific enquiry" to your own VO.

For me it didn't delay the process, and if your mailing address is not correct and the COPR is sent to the wrong address, that will delay much more!

Good luck,
Sweden

Actually, I'm from a country that requires a visa.
But I guess this wont change anything.

You can still change your address, in case CIC decides to communicate with you by letter. What changes between non-visa-exempt and visa-exempt is that in your case, your VO will ask for your passport, so when you send it, you have a chance to ask them to change your address so it comes back to the right place. Where for visa-exempt, very often the VO just issues the COPR without previous request of passport, the only sign that the visa has been issued is the "decision made" on ecas - so it's even more important to inform them of change of address.
But go ahead - it shouldn't delay anything for your case.
Good luck,
Sweden

Sweden, you're awesome. I've seen plenty of posts of you here and you're incredible.
Thanks again and keep up with the good work.

Cheers!

And I would recommend calling twice to make sure they have the address change. I was awaiting the arrival of my COPR and had notified CPP-O of my address change in Canada (as I had been here for years on a visitor's record). Also called CIC to confirm they had the appropriate information. Also, sent an email AND included a copy of my visitor's record with explanation, address & copies of PP and STILL the COPR was mailed to the US address. So, I would just double check :)
