Moving Permanent- WHere do i surrender my I-94

Permanent move to Canada from US... Do I need to surrender my I-94 at US Border Office and get my passport stamped or simply drive over to Canadian Border Office?
Also, my goods to follow list is 1.5 years old, can i still bring in all the stuff listed taxfree? I am planning to drive with my personal stuff, and all my goods to follow list will be cargo with-in 2 months.. Will that be a problem?

You are supposed to surrender your i-94 at the US border Office. I don't think they stamp your passport.

You can bring good to follow tax free with no problem.

thanks. i will be moving to Canada tomorrow. I will be driving to Mississauga from NY. Will keep you posted about the move.
