So I'm a Canadian who married a croatian. We've been together for 4 years and make over 150k together. We would love to bring her mom and her husband over on family visa but don't want to be responsible for someone(I don't want) for 20 years. Seems very long to look after my wife's elders. They will work For sure and aren't going to go on welfare but I don't want to be responsible. Is there anyway to bring them here any other way? I'd love to have my son's grandparents here without having to look after them for 20 years... Any thoughts?

No they aren’t allowed to work on a supervisa. If your wife makes sufficient income to meet LICO to sponsor them, she can sponsor them herself. No need for you to co-sign. She would be responsible for them. You would also have to wait till next year to sponsor (assuming all the allocated openings have been filled this year.
