Hello, my husband and I submitted the PR to the London VO. We have already gone through the sponsor part of the application(approved) and ecas says we are in process since the 29th of November (transferred documents from Canada to London). However, my student visa expires shortly, and we have to leave the country. If we inform them of our new address that is out of the country, will they immediately transfer the documents to our new country of residence and start over the process, despite having the process being done for a month and a half (as of middle of january)? If it is transferred is it subject to (applications will be processed in the time they are received in)?

What is we put a family member that we have here in the UK for a contact? If there is needed an interview, or passport requested, we would send an email with the address in the new country. We pray for no interview. For the passport we can send it to my family member and they send it to the VO, and have their address as a mail delivery location.

ANy thoughts on this would be great. We would like the process to be done here in London, rather than the country we are going to. Please let us know if this is correct, if there are possibilities, or just simply help us out any way you can with this situation.
Thank you.

It is very uncommon for them to move the process. Tell them that you are moving and either tell them your new address in the country you are moving to or tell them you will keep a mailing address at your relatives.

We're in a similar situation and the response from Leon has been the answer we've gotten from everyone here, from other websites and forums.

The only reason they would change the VO is if there is something within your documents they feel is best processed by another VO (integrity of the program). However, it seems to be a very rare case for this to happen.

Thank You Leon!! :) I will do that. Inform them I am leaving the country and tell them my realtives mailing address in case they want to contact us I would also give them my address in Colombia. Hopefully they don't delay things because of that!

Thank you as well Mel

No, we'll be leaving The Netherlands and doing a 6 month course in Spain, to polish our portfolios before going to Canada. We hope that during that time we're in Spain we get my husband's PR approval. *fingers crossed*

We are thinking of doing the same. Sponsorship was approved, I got the QC certificate. My VO is Bucharest -- I applied there as a Bulgarian citizen. Now we are going back to Montreal with our 2 month old and I will enter on my American passport. I really hope Bucharest does not call me up for an interview. What a pain to have to travel back here. I would be pretty surprised if they called me up but who knows...

Same here. The idea for staying in Spain for those 6 months is also that if an interview is requested, we're close by (added that we think waiting in Venezuela will be slightly "dead time" career wise).

I also called German immigration authorities to ask if after our time in Spain, we could enter Germany as tourists, and they said yes. That way we know that even if he needs to go for an interview after July, he can go into Berlin.

However, hopefully all of this is not necessary. In theory an interview should not be needed, but we thought it is better safe than sorry (considering Berlin states that 80% of cases go up to 8 months).
