Hello Experts, Need your advice and feedback in my case.

I submitted my PR application (July AOR). I had shown the funds in my bank account as proof of funds (which is sufficiently more than cic requirements).

Now I am planning to move this amount to different investment instruments (mutual funds, time deposits, stocks etc.,) since the money is sitting in low interest account(s), considering the 6+ months processing time it's taking to adjudicate the applications.

Please share your suggestions as to if I can do this?

Is it required to maintain the funds as it is as given in the proof of funds documents till the application is adjudicated?

Thanks in advance.

You can move them but it is not recommended because sometimes they may ask for an updated POF.

Hi, I personally will Not recommend to do any changes to your account as you might need to submit the pof once again. So it is better left as it is. Why take a chance of risk ;)
