I just wanted to post an update and also thank you for all the help you've given me over the past few months. I apologize for being a complete basket-case on the forums around the time when we first submitted our application. I have an anxiety disorder and I had freaked myself out into thinking that any slight error would result in misrepresentation (for instance, I misspelled the name of a workplace and called CIC like three times to make sure it wouldn't result in misrepresentation). I had also convinced myself that we'd get a homophobic agent who would deny us solely on the fact that we're both women. I look back on my past posts and I do seem a bit crazy so thank you for calming me down and sticking with me.
We submitted the outland application on December 11 and got AOR1 in early February. I thought the wait would kill me but it actually went smoothly. A few days later, we got approval of sponsorship. I was finally able to link the application and now under application status it says "submitted". I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be finished by autumn but of course it may take longer. We applied outland per the advice we got here and that was awesome advice because things do see to be moving along nicely. On top of that, my wife gets to spend most days here with me in Canada. She has a TRP that has a note at the bottom saying that she is waiting for PR and we haven't had any issues at the border. She does still work in the USA.
No questions this time, just a big THANK YOU to you all.
