Moved to Canada while my application in progress

Hello everyone,

I submitted my profile when I was outside Canada and requested an extension as I was waiting PCC from FBI. It has been 3 weeks since I submitted, yet I did not receive an extension. At the same time, I received the PCC and submitted through the webform on IRCC website.

A week ago, I moved to Canada with a student visa. I also submitted my address change via webform. I wonder how can I see if change my address? Will they also change my visa office to Canada since I reside here now.

Is there anyone who experience the same situation? I'd be glad if you can share any information as I do not know how to move forward at this point.

Webform will work just fine. If you're really concerned, though, you can always contact IRCC and ask hem to change your contact details. I did it just yesterday and the address was immediately changed in my file when I gave them a call. If you're ok with being on hold for >30 minutes, I'd say it's worth giving them a call. Good luck.
