PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ANS THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have applied for a truck driving job in ONTARIO and have just read that you are only allowed to stay there for a year then you have to return to the U.K. for 4 months.

So children and familys are uprooted?
Is this the only way we can come into Ontario as a truck driver

Any help would be most appreciated.

Actually it is up to 2 years, then home. In Manitoba/Saskatchewan PNP allow for Truck Drivers to be nominated under that scheme, and they can be processed for PR status. This means that the spouse can get an open work permit after 6 months. Whereas if the driver is not nominated under the PNP scheme, the spouse is not eligible for a work permit.
