Yes, I would mention that and also show a bank balance that can support this. I would also very strongly recommend that before you apply, you find a clinic that is willing to accept him as a visitor and provide documentation from them to support this and payment schedules, etc. It can sometimes be hard to find clinics willing to accept visitors. Do this up front and include as evidence in the application.
Found the clinic. Filled the form, but to book a spot I need the visa in place. For that, I am not sure if the visa will be approved with the dialysis mentioned. he will be coming for 2 weeks. So if we show bank balance dedicated for that , it should work ?

It sounds like you've done all of the right things.

I can't tell you if it will work or not. Whenever someone is on dialysis, there's always a significant chance of refusal. However it sounds like you've done everything you can to try to get an approval.

Thanks. Lets see :) My dad is pretty healthy but yes, only if he does his dialysis. Hopefully he gets the visa and gets to see my place here !

Will update the forum accordingly

@Tech_girl123 I am in the same situation, Could you please update, if you were able to get your dad in Canada?
What is your dad applying for? What is your status in Canada? If he needs dialysis, he will not be covered by health/travel insurance. You need to contact, book and pay for his dialysis treatment so find out what local centres accept visitors. Usually only accepted on space available.

I think you need to provide more information on your situation.

Tech_girl123 did her homework and had already found a clinic for the treatment during the 2 weeks visit.

She is a Canadian citizen and had sponsored a spouse. And have the fund to proof that she can provide the fund.
So her dad being approved a visitor visa may not apply to your case.

Agree that you first need to reach out to local dialysis centres to see if they could accommodate your dad, how much would it cost to see if it affordable Because it will likely be thousands of dollars depending on length of stay and frequency of dialysis, etc. Some clinics will not be willing to take people without provincial insurance because they are already near or at capacity.
