Hello everyone! I hope someone can give me advice on what to do regarding our situation.
When I sponsored my husband in 2016, we put his mom’s maiden name because we thought that she never got married. We put in the civil status “common law” because she is currently living with someone (not married) for years.
Now, his mom wants to apply for a tourist visa. While processing her requirements, we found out that she was MARRIED long time ago (before my husband was born). Her husband already passed away long time ago but it will be complicated to change her name and civil status now.
Will it affect her application if hubby’s PR app shows a different name and civil status compared to her documents now? Do we need to present any additional documents to prove that she is the same person?
This is only TOURIST VISA and NOT SUPERVISA.
Thanks in advance!
