Yes, I'm not sure what the point of OINP is if it has a similar cutoff like Express entry????

Demand supply. Too many qualified folks in the pool as far as they are concerned. Given the crisis and local unemployment, don't expect this the score to go down.

I meant in terms of finding a job...Ontario is obviously the most urbanized with jobs.
Well, if you cant find then find it in other province.
To me, its better than (not even comparable to) waiting for miracle to happen in US on immigration end.
See, its all about what you want. If you are not worried about working in US and can go back later then just continue. If you are worried for long term settlement then you need to deal with short term issues with few things are less than what we get in US. We cant have everything what we want from US and what we need from Canada. So decide and choose whats worth based on your long term plan.

YEs, true. Did Saskatchewan ask to take APEGS exams for your occupation? I'm not sure why in my occupation , its needed to be licensed or something by APEGS?

Unfortunately if your job is a licensed one in SK then they ask for completion of licensing before they approve the application. You can apply saying that you already started the process and will complete in few months but if it will take lot of time to complete then no point in applying as they usually adjudicate the application in few months.

Refer their site in which they have mentioned for the occupations they recruit if its licensed or not. You should be first researching more on it, seems you are new to this. Spend time on reading and knowing the rules and you will get an idea of it.
You have not heard but its not the case in other countries. Many engineering jobs are licensed.

I know about engineering jobs being licensed, but generally in IT you don't need licensing....its not civil /mech engineering
