I was browsing this forum and noticed some posts where people have missed completing #19, your identity card number, on form IMM0008 Application for Permanent Residence in Canada. It seemed like quite a few people had made the same mistake. Is there a certain place in this forum where people have posted common mistakes that have been made in their applications so that a Newbie like myself can be aware of them and try to learn from them?

Yes, that place seems to be one that a lot of people missed filling out. Mostly because they forgot to put N/A or not applicable in the space. It is so easy to miss just one place on the form that should be completed. Hopefully going over and over the application will prevent that problem, but I can see how mistakes happen.
