Moscow Application Processing Office

If anyone is having / had their application processed through the Moscow, Russia Office what has your experience been?

We are waiting for news on our process and hoping for the best. It would be nice to hear from some of you...

We went through Moscow in 2008. Applied in Sept and she was here Mar 1st, 2009. The wait was maddening of course. Thankfully she managed to visit on a Temp Visa during the wait. Good luck.

Tallen, you have a very goof transferring time. Usually it takes more then 1 month!

Frolic, you are so lucky that your wife could get a visitors visa! We will apply as well.

Our visa office is Moscow as well. Hopefully tommorow or the day after tommorow I will send my packege to my hasband in Toronto.

We applied for a TRV and were denied, they did not even check the reason(s) why in all the check boxes they denied it. Simply said they did not feel she would return to Russia. We included a lot of documentation showing she had reasons to return but denied. This really was bad news as when I go to spend time with my wife I have to take time off work and can only afford to go for 8-14 days. If she could come here she could stay a month easy and we could have much more quality time together. I included a great letter of inventation and did as much as I could to make it sucessful...

I just returned from spending time with her on the Black Sea and in Moscow on the 8th. (Was in Moscow when all the smoke was there from the forest fires) With each visit the time of being apart feels even harder.

I heard it is pretty common to be denied if your in the process of PR they say. Just still sucks I would love for her to meet her family here, and help me pick out things to make our home here more our home. We have done some over the net, but i want her to see the house and yard.

I emailed our local Federal PM, then called to make sure they got the email they said yes, but never a reply. I heard a letter from the PM will help, Now I guess I am just going to go camp out front of his office lol.

Honey, we have to be strong and patient.. I know it hurts and sometimes too much. But what can we do? just pray for us, just be strong, just love each other and wait for that happy moment, when we will be together forever and a day. Love you OCHEN!

I'm very sorry for you, guys, beign denied for TRV I know that it is about 50% chance of getting it. We will still try. Who knows...

The most important thing is that you, guys, love each other! And we (my husband and I) love each other too. So all we need is to be patient...

Tallen, you can wait with the house stuff untill she comes! But it is interesting with internet-planning things too))
How did you like the Black Sea? I actually live by it (in Sochi)

Yes we are Married and Both Very Happy, and are trying to be patient as hard as it is.. Yes our TRV being denied was hard as I can not leave work for as long as shr could come and visit.

The Black Sea was my wife's idea and it was very very nice. We had good weather all the time we were there; it only rained for say 1hr in all the days we were there. Very hot each day, and we were at the beach / in the Sea each day (we could easily walk to the beach from where we were staying.) The train ride there form Moscow was long but we stopped a lot and were able to get snacks and such. On our return trip we went through woods that were on fire / smoldering and once back in Moscow the smoke was everywhere.

It would be nice if you could sign up and add your case to Trackit that way all of us going through the Moscow office could see what progress is being made.

My file is in Moscow since June 16, 2010. Still haven't heard from them, starting to get worried!

As usual all cases are different but movement of any sort will give us all more hope. It is so hard this wait but as they say anything that comes easy is not valued as much as something that came of great work and wait. This time apart is very hard but things happen for a reason and during this time we have talked and shared so much, I can't think of anyone I have truly meaningfuly communicated with in my life.

Marriage in the same country is so easy, and that is why so many fail.. Here we have no choice but to spend at least 1-2 months getting all the paperwork for marriage... All the stress, excitement, and hope.. only to then be separated again for months. This whole process only confirms my belief that we are meant to be together forever (and a day) and that LadyHawk is my True Love. Lol was just thinking of the song with the words “she's amazing.” I'm sure I don't need to give the title lol.

I know I am past it all now but I remember what it felt like being stuck in the process and having to deal with the wait and paperwork. ah "Tatiana" is the wife of "shawngt2" good to see more couples on here and if you are waiting in Moscow everywhere is close by Metro (as you know) maybe we can think of a meet up in the future, not me but all our wife's in Moscow.. The saying misery loves company... not what I would think but think maybe all our wives in Moscow could provide support, hope and caring while we all wait.

I think this would be a great Idea.

Can you tell a little details about your application, how you organized it? What you included? We just sent our application to Mississauga on the 9th and so excited to have the ball rolling now
