Hello everyone,
I got an invitation to apply for the PR earlier this year and applied in March 22 but I still dont have the final results. I was wondering if I should sent a request to review my case, I'm not sure because on the web form it says that you should only do it after the normal waiting times.
I am from Mexico and in our case after you submit your documents then they will ask you to get the police certificate through the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City, they will do the whole process for you, you only need to send them a letter that the immigration office gives you.
My timeline looks like this:
March 22 - Accepted invitation for the PR and send documents
April 3 - IRCC ask for the police certificate
April 13 - Sent the documents to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico
April 16 - Confirmation they got the documents
May 24 - In my online profile it says that they "read" the documents that I sent
June 8 - The Canadian Embassy sent the result to the IRCC office
Beyond that there hasn't been any updates on my profile, I have pass the medical exam and there is no need for an interview or fingerprints, it just says that they are processing my background check.
Should I count 6 months starting from March 22, May 24 or June 8?
Any other recommendation?
Thanks!
