More than 12 month processing

I think most of people who takes more than 12 month for waiting for medical usually have file under review status. if not all then atleast in most of cases. Why dont people who waited for atleast 12 month can share their experience. so we can atleast know what took so much time, any thing in GCMS due to which they took more than 12 months to send u medicals or for rejection. Like in mine case miscalculation of work exp which I try to make by sending updated letters. Currently file is under review

I didn't have any issues with my application and it took them just over 12 months to send the MR. My ECAS was "application received" for the entire time until the MR came through and then it changed to "In Process" I think if you try and work out the things that could be holding up your application then you will go bananas! When I applied they said it should take roughly 13 months form start to finish. They are a government agency and everything is done in a bureaucratic system that in theory should be the most organised and efficient process but in reality that may not be the case in some circumstances and agencies. If you haven't heard anything by the 13 month stage then I would be emailing and calling to see what's up. Hope this helps

@gladaki, frankly the time lines that I have observed in last few years for CEC have been 12 to 15 months
people who are extremely lucky get their MR at the 6 month timeline and thier PR Process completes in some 9 months . major set of people get the MR in 9 to 10 month timeline and their PR process completes by 13 month , there have been cases where the MR itself comes only by the 12/13th month and then the process completes in 13/16 month. What I have seen i most cases though is people who have crossed more than the 12/13th month mark and App is under review eventually gets rejected , though there are exceptions

Mady believe me I will be smiling even after rejection..they are just taking too much time..which is causing delay I. Applying again
