More than 1 IELTS results

Guys, I took the test April 27 and I do not think I will achieve 8 in the listening. There is a small chance but I am not optimistic and I was thinking in registering for IELTS May 11 without knowing my recent scores.

If by luck I score a CLB 9 in April 27 and do not score the desired results on May 11 is that a problem? Can I choose the highest score to create my Express Entry profile or does it need to be the most recent one?

You can choose any valid test (taken in the last two years), but you cannot mix and match scores from two tests.
