More Medical Test requested - need Input for Serum Creatinine range

Hi Group Members,

I have Query regarding more test for my mother Super Visa Medical.

I applied for my Parents Super Visa and did upfront medical and submitted result along with Application form
I got Further more medical test request for my mother and since we have Lab test report copy and IME number from IRCC we called Dr and they suggested few more test requested from IRCC and they recommended to visit nephrologist.

As per lab report Serum Creatinine Range is showing 05-0.9 , how ever my mother has 1.8. also Urine Albumin is + (Other parameters in lab report and Blood reports is in Range)

After reading the forum post what I feel before taking an appointment with further medical test as requested by IRCC Medical,
I want to fix this and get it within range before so that chances for medical rejection can be ignored.

- Stop all Protein product and drink a-lot of Water.
- Consult some specialist and discuss how this can be reduced by medication. (Is anyone have personal experience and they know by medication "Serum Creatinine" value can be reduced if yes , how much time it may take?)
- Does anyone know that CIC is very strict on range and if it is little extra they will reject the super Visa Application ?

Not sure why IRCC can put rejection on this as incase of super visa I am anyway taking the whole responsibility for her medical expense which will occurring in Canada.
I am really frustrated as by thinking in case it get rejected she cant stay with us in Canada.

Any suggestion or experience will be much appreciated . Thanks in Advanced

Kidney function and failure is one of the most common issues that leads to medical inadmissibility. It is very common in the South Asian community. Dialysis is a very expensive medical procedure. Kidney transplant and preventing rejection is also expensive but less expensive than dialysis. There isn’t a way for the government to force you to cover the cost of her medical care so promising to cover the costs of her care is only so effective. Your mother should get a full physicality her GP and also see a nephrologist. Her doctors should look at whether she has diabetes (A1C is the best good test to look at her sugar levels over time), high blood pressure and also kidney function. Amy other reasons for impaired kidney function should be rules out. Diabetes is one of the common issues for reduced kidney function. Kidney function can be impacted diet, being overweight, poor management diabetes, age, etc. but lowered kidney function can not always be reversed by medical care and lifestyle issues. Would repeat kidney function because it could have been impacted by something like her diet right before her blood test. A repeat test while not eating food that negatively impacts kidney function blood tests or a few tests will give an idea about her true kidney function. Would not panic until you know what is the true situation. Her immigration application may have brought up some health issues that she can now address and prevent future damage.
