You can apply anytime after marriage. But preferable after a good amount of photos and proof of the wedding and your relationship are produced.
Thank you. Yes we have whatsapp calls and chatting of last 2 years and we will will have good amount of photos of our wedding cause our functions will be of 7 days.

This maybe makes sense for you, but look at it from CIC point of view. There are high risks that your application will raise red flags and be really scrutinized, and also a high risk of refusal.
If I were you I won't bet on it.
Side-note : I don't know but maybe IRCC agents for BGC purposes would look at your facebook accounts and would see "engaged" rather than married, which certainly would complicate things for you...

what does BGC stands for?

I see your point, it is frustrating. for facebook i will either change it or delete it and not include it in the application and use something else. its that page 8 in the check list that you to provide 2 out of 4 things and thats what i am struggling the most with.

if it was denied, will that only cause delays and resubmission (how long does that take?) or it would cause a ban to the whole process?

As mentionned above BGC stands for background check, if I'm not mistaken there is a biography part where they check "your story"
No offense in what I will say :
From what I've read you married your childhood friend and it was speedy without a big ceremony, hiding your status from family, etc... If I were in IRCC agent shoes : I will see it as a marriage of convenience to get your childhood friend, you're not willing to put the necessary funds/efforts...
This how it would look like from CIC perspective.
It will cause delays in your application, even would be ground for refusal, then you would either appeal the decision or re-apply after adressing CIC concerns (big/descent wedding, friends & family recognizing your marriage, visits, etc...). You would loose more money in fees, and also delays whigoes againt your initial wish to speed up things to re-unite with your spouse...
My advice, organize a descent ceremony and apply so that your application won't raise any unnecessary suspicions.
Good luck !

we did a public ceremony. there was a party attended by 40 people. Does it have to be a wedding with a white dress? we are both originally not from the country we got married at. we dont know many people and we did not need to throw a big wedding. we dont have plenty of people to attend.

i have photos of us when we were kids, i have photos of just BBQ, photos hanging out, photos kissing outside, inside my place and even on the kitchen table sitting and eating together. photos from the celebration (party), photos from court, photos of both families having dinner with us sitting next to each other, restaurant pictures. i have about 3000 photos from 3 weeks.

"Sure you can apply after the wedding if you have your various documents and marriage registration" - please explain, i have the marriage certificate, bank statement of our joint account, plenty of text messages and calls, my parents and my air plant tickets, i even have recipes from every cafe/restaurant we went to (doesnt have our names). am i missing anything?
Your 3000 pictures are basically irrelevant, as there is a 20 picture limit in the application.

IRCC follows cultural norms. A quick search shows that marrying without an actual wedding seems to be against the cultural norms of Iraq. Not consummating the marriage is against the norms of pretty much every culture. For example, nikah-only marriages from Pakistan are often refused, as IRCC does not consider it to be a genuine wedding without all of the ceremonies done.

Understand that if you apply now, there is a definite possibility of being refused.
