Hello Everyone on this Forum,

I had a few concerns and I was wondering if anyone who had their processing office as Montreal could relate to this;

I am an inland applicant and I got to know that my application was being processed in IRCC's Montreal office via my GCMS notes.

Anyways, I received an email today saying I should go to IRCC's Montreal Office for my pre-landing appointment.
According to the email, I require a CSQ to be admitted into the office which I find a bit strange.

I didn't apply for a CSQ since I was going through FSW. Has anyone experienced this before?

Please help.
Could be an error. Call the IRCC number and clarify. You don't need CSQ as FSW applicant.

Thanks so much @a14r. I have seen this and booked an appointment for Seattle. Was informed yesterday that crossing the border to the US for the sole purpose of biometrics leaves a chance to be denied entry into the US. Just needed to confirm this information.

Hoping the following helps. When you go see the locations available for fingerprinting here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/where-to-give-biometrics.asp, it also lists Canadian port of entries as places who can do them.

Haven't tried or know of anyone who has. If someone has used the POE option being within Canada, please chime in.

Thanks for your help @a14r. Was able to do the biometrics in Seattle yesterday and status updated on my profile as well.

As per Consolidated e-APR Tracker, i have seen some PPR approvals for Dec 2018 applicants this month.. would it be fair to assume that Montreal VO now work on Dec applicants for FSW-Outland?

That’s wishful thinking. I hope it’s true that our files at Montreal move ahead. But most applicants in Dec that recently received PPR had Ottawa as their VO.

The tracker actually had 'Montreal' as their VO... 3 people, with AOR as Dec 21, 22 and 25...

Didn’t know that. What’s you AOR?

How to call CIC from the USA?
Do they have any specific phone number for the US people?

I was equally delighted to see DEC 2018 PPR's, but they all had their cases transferred to other offices. These is still hope though as more than 50% of application are done within 200 days according to immitrakcer.
Lets be positive and hope everyone gets it within the allotted 6 months time frame.
