Hi everyone,

I´ve been a silent reader of this forum so far and it has helped me a lot to keep my mind in peace with this long wait.

Anyway, I´m an FSW-inland with AOR Nov 29th, MEP passed on JAN 9Th and since then total license from IRCC. I´ve called them in JAN and discovered that my file was in Montreal. Last week, I called them back and they said that my file was transferred to Hamilton, ON.

Maybe they are trying to get rid of their backlog. Hope this info can help somebody too. Good luck to all of us!

Hello guys, I need your help. My work permit expires on July 9. My PR application will hit the 6 months timeline in 6 days. To be on the safe side. I just applied for an open work permit. The processing time is around 4 months.

I read that even if I don't get an answer by July 9, I can still work on an implied status. Will I be able to travel to the US after my current work permit expires? How do I prove my "implied status to customs"?

Thank you so much !

To travel and come back into the country you need a valid visa...before the new work permit comes you can't travel outside, once the new work permit comes, you have to then get a new TRV then you can come back in to the country...

Are you an outland applicant? I think this a good sign. You might get your PR soon!

Hello everyone,

I just got to know that my file was transferred to Ottawa with a new deadline of June 23rd! Has anyone had this situation? Is it a good sign?
