Hi Guys,

Needed guidance as my passport is expiring within 6 months and have submitted renewal request to my consulate. Few questions with respect to implication on the FSW application

1. Most effective medium/process to inform IRCC on renewed passport during the application
2. Apart from new passport scans, any additional documents required for submission
3. Potential lookout/gotchas

1. Raise a CSE and provide bio pages of new passport

2. No documents needed. But I wrote a small document saying passport is updated and gave details of old passport and new passport in that letter

3. Nothing to worry about. It’s straightforward.

you just need to raise CSE and upload new passport copies..they will attach the docs to your application

Hello everyone,
Just got my profile updated with an unusual ADR for passport request of my wife.
The strange thing is I had attached her passport with the initial application already and her passport is good & valid for next 4 years.
No specific reasons have been mentioned jb ADR just please upload her passport/travel document details.
Don’t understand this.
Thats all my update is.

It could be a good thing. Provide the documents. Shows someone worked on your file.

Welcome to Montreal family! My AOR is 19th June. As per the trend we have seen in Montreal we need to wait till at least end of November to dream of PPR. Have you ordered GCMS notes?

I did call them soon after my six months got over... The agent informed that it was recommended pass and there was nothing unusual about my application... I just have to wait...

I would suggest to raise a CSE if you have not already done so. It may not help but doesn't harm trying one more avenue.

Got GCMS notes last week and it says Eligibility is 'Recommended Pass', Case Agent noted as 'Ready to Finalize', Criminal and Security Checks did not begin.

How are the processing timelines with Montreal Office in general?

Wow ready to finalize means that they just need to push a button to send PPR. Can you check if your file was processed entirely at Montreal or it moved once it was ready to finalize. I would guess it’s the latter. Haven’t seen Montreal working so fast.
