About GCMS notes - the website doesn't look secure and the person on the other end who orders them gets to view your info - which makes me uncomfortable. I am not comfortable ordering them. I will just wait it out. Its already 70 days. Another 110 days.

I don’t think that is the case. Most of is have application in Montreal from day 1. May be a few of us are in that additional review required category but it is hard to believe everyone here is in that category.
Hopefully you are right! :)

Received GCMS notes this week and looks like Eligibility status is for "Review Required" due to Statutory Question ( US Visa rejection). File was first reviewed by program assistant on 06/25 and then reviewed by Case Analyst at Montreal on 7/12.
No updates since last called CIC agent on July 25th.

Hope so but by looking at the pending cases in that thread it looks quite improbable :(
Moreover, it been almost two months since AOR for me as well which means the usual trend continues. bit worried now :(

@vish97 @NandiniAS have you received your GCMS notes? It would be great if you could share your findings with us. Thanks !!

For others I would request you to kindly order GCMS notes as well. I don’t know if it will help nudge the Montreal folks in to action.

what kind of impact does previous visa rejection will have on application ?

i had h1B denial once , mentioned it in application , now the application (eligibility ) went into review required due to this.

i hear this stories that once eligibility is flagged "review required" then their is no guarantee of 6 month time line , it could go will beyond that , i hope that is not the case.

apart from this " Statutory Question" reviewed required , everything looks good with eligibility A11.2 met , R10 : ok , Funds : Met , experience : met .

also in notes analyst mentioned "CRIMINALITY :CIO RECOMMEND REVIEW REQUIRED FOR STATUTORY QUESTION" , but i don't why they kept my eligibility in "review required" if it was categorized as "criminality"

I have similar notes though my file is at CPC-Ottawa. Program assistant at CIO wrote on 3rd July review required for stat question (UK student visa refusal) and criminality recommendation: review required, then on 18th July Case Analyst at CPC-Ottawa probably reviewed it because he put his recommendation as "Recommend Passed". Also in page two under Assessment it says Eligibility: Recommended Pass.
I don't think IRCC has different policies for different visa offices. I am sure your file also will be processed as normal as it happens in Ottawa. Hang in there, by October most of us should be cleared. Good Luck!
