My file was approved on Feb 19th...i am still awaiting further instructions....i am Inland applicant tooHi folks, I called on Monday and the agent told me my application was in Montreal and it was approved/ decision made...Any idea how long is the regular wait time for further instructions? It looks like Montreal processing time could be longer than the others...
And, do you guys have any idea of how do they decide on PPR or Landing interview? I am currently living in a Canadian city which has easy access to a landing office... Thanks guys!
AOR, Nationality? My file was approved on Feb 19th...i am still awaiting further instructions....i am Inland applicant too
oh woah that is quite long... have you tried to contact them to see if they already send you an email? Thanks a lot, Cansha All the best with your new journey in Canada!
Hi everyone, please i need your advice. As i stated before, i am considering whether to extend my TRV stay or return to my home country and a major factor is the impact it might have on my PR application. My understanding so far is that it is mainly Canada or US residents' files that are assigned to Montreal. Is there a chance that moving back to my home country (Nigeria) may cause a delay to the processing of my application or get my file tranferred to a different office, say Accra, which takes even longer, it seems, than Montreal? I'm also wondering whether i will be asked to do biometrics once outside Canada. Please let me know what you think.Hello Everyone,
I guess I'm the newest member.
Just found out today that my file was transferred from Sydney to Montreal and i've spent over 5 hours going through the posts on this thread. I'm so grateful for the information on here and happy for all those who have gotten PPR and landed. I signed the petition but I wasn't sure whether it's still in 'process'. I'm in Kruhiputar's shoes and may be applying for an extension of my TRV to wait for the approval. I don't want to risk being transferred to Accra. My home country is Nigeria.
The latest update is as follows:
AOR - Nov 29 2018
Category: FSW Inland (TRV). Accompanying spouse is Outland
MEP: Jan 08
Criminality: Criminality for accompanying spouse passed (As at Mar 01). Mine in progress.
Background verifications: In progress
Eligibility: Not started.
GCMS notes requested Mar 01 not yet received.
Grateful for thoughts you may have regarding my application and proposed extension. Seems like the average expectation for me would be June?
I really feel his file must have moved last monthOct 1 AOR from Montreal got PPr according to ImmiTracker
Regardless... It did move and he got his PPR, and his file was in Montreal... So its a step forward...I really feel his file must have moved last month
nder review and security and criminality not started for any of the applicants. Medical passed. It is because of eligibility under review he said it is getting delayed and he cant do anything about it. I don't know what to u
May I ask what do you guys mean by "transfer'? Do they always move your file to another office during the process?Regardless... It did move and he got his PPR, and his file was in Montreal... So its a step forward...
Do we know that latest Montrealean AOR that received PPR?
Transfer means first my application was in CIO sydney, then a cse reply mentioned it was in the local office in Montreal.May I ask what do you guys mean by "transfer'? Do they always move your file to another office during the process?
Thank you for the explanation! I didn't know you can check that as well...Transfer means first my application was in CIO sydney, then a cse reply mentioned it was in the local office in Montreal.
No, relocating doesn't mean your application will be transferred to another VO. It can, but that can also happen regardless of if you relocate or not.Hi everyone, please i need your advice. I meant it has moved out of Montreal to some other VO. Because I know many files got moved to Montreal and then to some other vo in the month of february. Many July, September and October files moved out of Montreal. Unless they have checked the vo recently, they think it is from Montreal. Latest montreal ppr is Aug 21 and the transfer date is Oct 11.Regardless... It did move and he got his PPR, and his file was in Montreal... So its a step forward...

Does moving out to a different vo help speeding up? My case was transferred after being idle for 5 months.I meant it has moved out of Montreal to some other VO.
