* My application was in IP1 till the end, PPR was an update on application and the status changed to IP2 along with the PPR update.

There was no update on my application for over 6 months, today I called IRCC they put me on a long hold. During the hold I received another request for my Mexican PCC on to my account, I inquired the same to the IRCC agent after hold. He mentioned that they never received my PCC. Then called the Canadian embassy in Mexico as they already sent me a mail confirmation that my PCC was delivered on June 06. They put me on a long hold and there was another update on my account during the hold, it was the PPR mail.

So I firmly believe that me calling today has made some difference. Else I am pretty sure today would be have been another day in those 6+ dark months.

This was one of the worst wait times I had ever. IRCC should provide all applicants with timely updates at every step.

Wishing all the best to all applicants here. You will surely get your PPR as no application would be rejected after many months of wait, but its only upto IRCC to send you one.
Thanks for sharing here. Did you ever order gcms notes? Curious to see when they worked on eligibility.

In any case congrats once again. This is the 3rd PPR story from Montreal in this week and gives me some hope. I just hope it’s a little bit earlier than 6 months for rest of us.

I applied GCMS last friday only. Today when I called the agent said eligibility is under review, medicals passed and BGC has not yet started, but received PPR in about 1 hour after he said so.

Ah okay. Yeah this is something very common for Montreal. All of us who have called and had application in Montreal were told eligibility under review. And no information about recommended pass or not. Whenever you receive your GCMS notes request you to come back and update dates of eligibility and background check if possible. It’ll be great to know the timelines. Thanks again.

April candidates based on experience of @yourfather above. May be a good idea to call IRCC. Another March candidate had similar experience with Montreal that he received ppr after the call. Not sure if it will work around the 5 month mark but worth a shot.
Still a day to go in this week. Hope we see a few more PPRs from Montreal.
All the best!

Got my notes yesterday. One analyst says "work period not validated because employer letter is not dated and job description is too short". Submitted a CSE with updated employer verification. Waiting for response. I suggest you to order your notes if you are stuck in IP1.

Job description is short?? This is a new one? How much detail did your job letter have ? Anyways it’s good that you ordered notes. Now you can provide updated letter.

After discussion with people in April AOR group, it seems they expected a list of your detailed job duties that match the NOC code description.

That is really strange. Have seen cases being processed at Ottawa office without any question on funds.
What are you planning to do in that case?
I have similar case, transferred $8 k to my savings account from my checking account in april. AOR is 16th July. Though I have not submitted complete bank statement and only submitted bank verification letter with average balance for last six months.
there is an increase in average balance and they might ask the same thing to me.
In my LOE I have mentioned that my salary gets credited in two Checking accounts and I have one savings account which has the major chunk of funds.
Have attached bank verification letter for both checking accounts as well.
Will order GCMS notes this weekend.

I think you should be fine based on what you described but yes it’s better to order gcms notes.
