This is very impressive timeline. I have applied today (Jan 20, 2015) from Montreal and have following questions:

1- I have arrested due to complaint from my ex-girlfriend and was released on conditions NOT TO CONTACT her and appear in court. My court hearing is on March 2015, will this affect my citizenship application ?

May 23, 2014 --- Application sent to Sydney, NS
May 26, 2014 --- Application received at CIC Sydney
July 25, 2014 --- CIC Processing starting
Aug 27, 2014 --- AOR and Booklet received at home
Jan 19, 2015 --- Notice to write citizenship test
Feb 10, 2015 --- Citizenship test, interview & oath ceremony the same day.

Total processing time: 8 months & 15 days

If I'm not mistaken, those that are convicted would be affected. Your's is still process so I'm not sure if it'll effect.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 6, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on January 14, 2015.

Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on January 20, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

received on Aug /1/2014.

Email AOR on Oct/28. Never got it

started processing on Dec 15 2015.

transferred to the office on Dec 17 2015. first they wort the name of the office then a gew days later it just said
Montreal office. I'm worried and confused

i read from another thread that once the application has been forwarded to the local office, there's roughly between 3 to 8 weeks to the test notice.. is that the expectation the same for you?
