the process its very slow only on people from the middle east , Egypt , turkey, Iraq , Yemen , Lebanin, Iran , you name it . but Saudia Arabia not included ! I saw 3 students at school they have their oath done within 6 months of processin ! lol I guess Saudia Arabia is not in the middle east anymore !

Well i am lebanese and the process is slow for me, my friend is lebanese and his process was pretty fast.

Although i agree that odds are if you are from these countries you may have more delays. But nothing is for sure

Hello guys,
I did my test on February 2018 and still my status is "in process". The agent told me that you will receive the oath letter max in 3 months but nothing has happened in more than 5 months now. is anyone with the same situation here?

me... i did my test end of April and i m still wating. at the interview the officer said that she wasnt seing any problem with my application and that i would have received my invitation in 3-4 months...

Test / interview June 20, DM June 28, still waiting on oath invite..

3-4 months just to schedule an oath ceremony, that's just ridiculous. Why does the act of scheduling take so long???? I understand if the date is far down the line but the scheduling itself taking 3-4 months????

So I just spoke to someone from IRCC... she said that technically, they have until Dec.11 to finalize my application (really? they're gonna go there? the date they received my application?).. and to give it another 3 months for the oath invitation... as of NOW.... my DM was June 28, so it's already been 2 months, and the interviewer had told me 2-4 months... now the goalposts seem to have shifted and it's now 5-7 months? Just to get an invite??!?!? And those 2 months, what happened, they went into a black hole????

So frustrated.

That 1 year timeframe is just a generic answer they give to everybody.
I was told that I'll receive an oath invitation by October 2018 and I'm a canadian since February...
Fact is, the person on the other side of the phone has no idea when you'll be scheduled and just sticks to the original "goal", the 1 year procedure.
There is a high chance you get your invitation relatively quickly, and long before december!

I think you are overreacting ... you got DM june 28th ... so it's been 1 month and a half ... look at the timelines of others it takes up to 2 months after DM to get oath invite ... you are going to get it before the end of august. Calm down
