Hi,

In IMM 5540, it's asking for monthly income/salary for the employers I worked for last 5 years. However, I do not have my pay stubs from my past employers, all I have is the Offer of Employment letter from each employer. And, current employer's monthly net income, as I can see this from my bank statements. I can only see bank statements only for 2015 and 2016, so I wouldn't have information for last 5 years.

1) Does the form want monthly gross or net income? Can I divide total yearly gross salary which was mentioned in the Offer letters, and divide it by 12?

2) If monthly net income is required, how would I come up with this because dividing the yearly gross salary will give me monthly gross, without CPP, EI and other reductions, in other words it wouldn't give me net income.

Can somebody please advise what to do here?

Thank you.

I am not sure how you would do the employers over the past five years, I was lucky enough to have held the same position for nearly 10 years now, however when my employer sent the letter for me, she wrote my base salary, before deductions.

I would just put your gross base monthly income for the past five years.
