How much money can you take to Canada at the time of first entry after you get PR??

There is no limit. But if you take more than CDN 10,000 then you have to disclose this to the official at the Canadian airport.

You can take as much as you want. You only need to declare it if you have more 10k in CAD or equivalent. (Declaration has nothing to do with allowance and there is no allowance)

You just need to declare if its CAD10k or more. This is both in terms of cash, bank draft as well as things like jewelry that may costs significant amounts
