Top reasons for migrating to Canada for me are:

1. Security
2. Good Education for Kids
3. Professional Education for myself

I have discussed this issue with several Pakistani applicants and most of them are migrating due to prevailing 'SECURITY' situation. Most of us know that we may not be able to get same sort of Positions and Salaries atleast for first few years, but almost all are ready to take this risk for the sake of their kids.

Hi domingo,

Thanks for your reply. Your concerns are genuine and also most of the aspirants. B'coz people have tired of the system here in spite of doing and giving their best to their countries, things are moving very slowly and resulting in frustration and anger.

Thanks once again.

I live in Pakistan and SECURITY is the main reason.although when we decided to apply for Canada situation was not that worst but now priorities are changed.

I am in India and tired of the corruption, the pollution, electricity cuts, traffic....and I am considered an elite one, others have it worse.

hi evryone!
i agree with canadavisa4me. also better quality of life. being a doctor i cant get that quality here in India no matter how much I earn. also im frustrated in my profession here. i know i will have to struggle a lot and study a lot. but im ready for it... for better quality, corruption free(atleast not at common person's level),basic amenities and security for old age n my child's future.

More than all, I work for 18 hrs a day in the IT job over here in India. Stupid managers are making me to work like donkey both day and night. Starving for sleep.

the only problem i see with canada is the weather and lesser pay when compared to united states.

US companies pay minimum 80K/ year for the IT Job. Canadian companies pay just 40k/ year for the IT Job. Other than that things are fine.. bye, George.

My husband and I live in the States. If we stay, we will make more money and get taxed less but the quality of life in Canada is better. I lived in Canada as a child and my sister lives there. My memories of Canada are very fond and when my sister visits us in the States she keeps asking us, "What are you doing here?" The political atmosphere is hostile and the, "We are better than the rest of the world" attitude is off putting. My mom visited us in the States and then visited my sister in Canada and came back with the same question, "What are you doing here?"

So for us - Quality of life.

In Canada, even with a little, you can live a happy and comfortable life..

But here !! Wearing yourself off at work, 12 hours daily .. Getting stuck in traffic on your way home.. honking.. smoke.. torn roads.. pollution .. people abusing each other and everything else.. A tired man goes home to find out theres no electricity !! taxes increasing.. Prices rising every now and then.. Political Conditions.. Security issues.. We've grown used to the fact of hearing people dieing everyday that it doesn't have any effect on us anymore.. You don't even know that will you be able to go home or not today !! above all what i fear the most is that someday my kid will grow up and he'll ask me, looking in the eye. Dad, You used to leave early in the morning, you used to come home late when i was asleep.. you worked your whole life, what did you do for my future?

And i might not have the answer to that. So yeah, for a better future for me and my family..
