If you don't have proof of funds in the whole amount, then don't apply.

You need to show you have sufficient funds when you apply. If you don't have the funds - then don't apply. Your application will be refused.

Thank you
thats make things clearer

If I ask a friend to transfer me the remaining amount needed to reach 23000, shall they suspect that as the money is not mine?
It is a loan but I wont land without the needed money in hand (after say a year from January 2013!)

cheers

AEO is the route where u wont need to show POF.

it depends on VO please share your location if you apply from Pakistan and your VO is London then you have one option, that is show your property instead of Bank Account....for that your have to have a property on your name and take valuation form three Govt. approved agencies...Title of documents should be on your name and Three valuation letters will be work for you....because London VO accepted this kind of POF.....check it out and take other members advice as well before filling the case.....

thanks

When my brother applied a few years back, a relative transferred the amount to his account
and my brother took a letter from the bank stating the amount available in the account as on date.
The next day my relative withdrew his money. But that was a few years back...Seniors please
advice if there are any issues for doing this?

The issues with doing this is that CIC can request new proof of funds at any time during the processing of the application. When they request proof of funds, they typically want proof the money has been in your account for six months. If the money is borrow and then removed, this will obviously be impossible to do. A few members of this forum have been refused for this reason.
