Im a June 2016 MPQ applicant, in December i received an email fom MIDI asking me to send an origal signed form (Déclaration du candidat à l’immigration (A-0525-CF) and the form Procuration – Mandat de représentation (A-0525-AF).
When i submitted my aplication i chose that i was going to be represented by another person, which the form A-0525-AF was required, but since i changed my mind and chose to represent myself, the email said if i didnt send this form they would assume that im representing myself and so i only sent form A-0525-CF signed on December 23-2016.
Today (January 16-2017) i received a response from MIDI that they got the form without any issues, but they say that they didnt receive form A-0525-AF, which they would need to process my application. Futhermore they say that if they dont receive the form in the next 60 days they are going to assume theat im representing myself and would communicate directly with me.
My question is: if they were to assume that if i didnt sent form Procuration – Mandat de représentation (A-0525-AF) i was going to represent myself, why did they send another email stating the same? for those 60 days is my application on hold? should i contact them and tell them directly? should i send a letter confirming that im going to represent myself before those 60 days are up? or simply just wait?
