Mon Project - Certificate is missing - Need Suggestion

Hi All,

I need an advise from all you, please help.

I have done a part-time 1 Year course from Delhi University in year 2004 and for the same I only received Marksheet that time. Now as per Mon Project, I need to submit the Certificate and Marksheet both for that. But DU is not providing any Certificate immediately because in 2004, no enrollment was done in my case and now they want me to first enroll in DU and then apply for the Certificate. What should I do? Can I give any letter to Quebec Immigration to support my case. I do not have time left and I need to submit all my docs asap.

MIDI is quite strict about educational documents.

1. It would be ideal if you can get degree/certificate from DU.

2. If enrolling in DU to get degree/certificate is not possible now , tell MIDI that its not possible for you to produce degree/certificate for the course and attach proof of correspondence with DU when you submit your documents. They might accept your reasoning and waive off degree/certificate requirement OR they will give you "Intent to Reject" and 2-3 months window to get documents from DU.

I had a discussion again with DU and they are saying that it will take minimum 20 days for enrolment and then only I would be able to apply for certificate. I discussed the urgency and after that they are ready to give me a provisional certificate. Is it fine if I give provisional certificate with an application letter stating the issue? Please suggest.

If I was in your situation I would submit application with Provisional Certificate and while MIDI processes application I would work with DU to get proper certificate issued. I would do this to beat June/Aug intake traffic.
