one of my friends also has 3 months to increase the points (from 48 to more than 49). But his situation is different because his master degree was only given 10 points. He wrote a letter to explain this problem last week. still waiting the response....
Are you sure passing the french courses can award points even when applying for QSW? I thought that only works for PEQ.

Congrats to everyone who got CSQ. I'm currently in quebec and applying via mon projet. I have a general question about the processing timeframe.
I see that mostly everyone here received their CSQ's within 1 month or so. And the timeline mentioned in quebec website for regular program is atleast 8 months.
Can you please explain what is the criteria for the fast processing?

Hello,
Just a question regarding restriction to travelling if you have applied for federal?
I've applied for federal this month and am planning to travel next year in February,is there any restriction on it?

You should be OK as long as you are not relocating from Quebec to some other Canadian province while your Federal is in progress.

Hi Guys,

I received my CSQ yesterday. Let me know the next steps for federal.

For Police verification certificate from India, is it ok if we get from indian embassy here n canada.

Also do we need to get PCC from local police here in canada?

Thanks

Yes. PCC from Indian embassy is OK. You do not need PCC from RCMP.

You can go to BLS if you are in montreal for PCC it takes 10 days if you have all docs ... regarding PCC from RCMP CIC may or may not ask ....

Thanks for your response POLYNING. I calculated the 8 months from that link provided everything goes smooth. Also from your timeline and from others who have posted in this thread, i see that it takes on average 5 weeks to receive CSQ.
But I'm confused whether this timeline applies to everyone applying from inside quebec (regular & peq) or only for PEQ applicants?

is it a new rule for mon projet applicants?
