If I have CAQ, LMIA and job, do I still need minimum 49 points to apply? Or when I have valid CAQ LMIA i can apply at any time and dont need those minimum points?

Congrats for the CSQ guys. Feeling much encouraged now :-D

Just a question though, has anyone heard that there might be a change in Quebec rules for PEQ. I have heard that they will change the level to C1 and will also conduct an interview. And I'm talking about the PEQ streamlined process not us just to be clear. I have not found any news about it though so it only seems like they are rumors and nothing else

Can someone here please explain me the exact meaning of cap-exempt candidates for QSWP ?

I see everyone has written that a Valid Job Offer...Is it same like an LMIA ?

Also temporary quebec residents are exempted..what exactly does this mean ?

Thanks for any help!

All of them means you have been living in Quebec for at least a year studying, working or with temporary residency.

So it means that I need to work in quebec for 1 year to be eligible as a temporary resident and thus be CAP EXEMPT from qswp ? Well..if 1 year is needed..it is better to apply in PEQ only..

Are you sure you need to have 1 year to apply? I only found information that after 6 months you got maximum points, wheres info that you need 1 year?.

To be eligible as a cap exempt candidate you'll need one year of residency in Quebec

Also , please note that Quebec is done accepting applications for 2016 ( non-camp exempt) and it will start using a system similar to ITA for next intake.
