Modifying Express Entry profile after receiving an ITA

I recently received ITA but just noted my Express entry profile is frozen. I had a change in one job designation but I m unable to edit. For example, in my profile the job title "Specialist - Data Analytics" whereas it should be "Spec - Data Analytics" as per my reference letter. Can I make changes to the PR application and mention it in loe?
Please advise.

I have also received an ITA but wanted to change my job title in the pre-ITA profile before submitting the application. But I don't see any modify button but only the view form. Please advise.

Or should I go ahead and just change it in the post-ITA application and submit an LOE explaining why am I doing so?
And is it even OK to do so?

Hello everyone,

I received ita and now my employer is not ready to provide reference letters, however I have also worked in another company which I didn't mention while creating profile, can I change my employer details after receiving ITA, would it be having any adverse effect on my profile in terms of authenticity.

I created my EE profile on June, 2019. And just got the ITA today. However, I got married in January, 2020. And I forgot to update it. Even that my partner is already PR and my score is still the same. But it has been more than 3 months since we got married. Will the officer accept my Letter of Explanation for marital status change? Has anyone experienced the same problem. Please share. Thank you.

Hi, I think there were a few other things that the officer tagged but I don't exactly know where to find this in my GCMS notes. The officer's notes were way back in June 2020 and I haven't gotten GCMS since then. My GCMS notes were dated July 29, and I understand it's been a long time since then. They also mentioned that my score pre-ITA was 478 but post-ITA was 479 (with my partner included) and only 429 points were verified as of the officer's checking in June 2020. I have sent a few follow up documents since then.

I sent a letter of explanation saying that we were waiting for my partner to receive his IELTS and ECA results and just add them to my EE profile because without these my CRS would be low. We were expecting that I would have to wait a few months to receive an invitation so I'd be able to edit my EE profile to include his credentials. But the ITA came barely a month after I submitted my EE profile (which is a good thing, of course) and thus my profile was without my partner. I received the ITA 05 Feb 2020 and submitted the application 25 March 2020 (with my partner already included). Since my CRS score increased post-ITA and that was the only thing that changed in my profile, I thought this wouldn't be a problem but now I am wondering if it is? I am also wondering if the letter of explanation would be enough?

Should I decile the invitation?

Hi guys,

I just received my ITA to apply for PR. I have a confusion that I need help with.

During my Express Entry application, I included Foreign Skilled Work Ex to gain additional 50 points for 3+ years experience. So, my total came out to be 508. And later, I was invited for a Cutoff score of 417 under CEC.

But, after trying for 60 days, I am not able to get my Foreign work Ex Letter from my past employer that matches the Canadian letter format.

I have two options:

1. Decline the ITA and apply again with ONLY Canadian Work experience
2. Shift my Foreign Work ex into my Personal History and write an LOE for why I did that. This will lower my score from 508 to 458.

My only concern with OPtion 2 is if I will still be eligible for PR considering that my NEW CRS score of 458 is still more than the 417 cutoffs for which I was invited.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi All, I am a PNP EE applicant and just received ITA. Upon creating EE profile and applying for PNP, I didnt declare my daughter. Reason for this is that I had this child out of wedlock in Malaysia and based on Malaysian law, I am not recognised as the father of the child since I am not married. I refuse to marry in Malaysia for reasons of concisence (as I would need to convert to Islam). In fact, my name does not even appear on the birth certificate of my child so I have no legal rights over her. However, I am still seriously considering declaring my child in the application. Obtaining legal ownership of my child without sacrificing my conscience is one of the main reasons I embarked on this migration Journey to begin with. So my question is, is it too late now? will it be considered misrepresentation since I didnt declare pre ITA/Nomination?

Hello I need some urgent help!
I have created my EE profile in January and received PNP nomination February. I already received 600 additional points after i accepted the nomination. But my question is , how to update my EE profile post nomination, specifically for a question under application details> Has X received a Provincial nomination from any of the provinces or territories?

In January I answered "no" to this question, but now i want to change it to "yes", because now i have a nomination. But the particular area was greyed out, so i can't update. And while waiting for a reply from IRCC, I received an ITA .
So I am really confused about what to do

I am exactly in the same situation, I have received a SINP nomination, however, I forgot that there was a section in the application details to update due to the joy of getting the nomination. I can change it in my post ITA pr application, however. So should I go ahead with the application or decline to update it and wait for the next ita?

HI experts, I got ITA under health care profession but after ITA I realized I made lot of mistakes in my profile. Initially I had created my profile on 31100 but later on changed it to 31102 with wrong employer name, job tile and dates increased one year by mistake and also forgot to delete the previous 31100-line item. I can see two jobs on my profile. My points are not reducing even if I reduce one year of experience. Shall I decline ITA. Please help.

I have received my ITA. However I have noticed that I put my spouse as accompanying me in Canada, but he is already Canadian and now they are charging me for 2 person as if my partner is also apply for PR. How can I fix this?please help

Express Entry will be greyed out after ITA you can't change the profile.

However in the application, you can change the non-accompanying spouse as accompanying however beware this might most probably reduce your CRS score, so while applying check if CRSis still above the minimum CRS for the draw, it goes below then IRCC will disqualify you.

Sometimes for well-qualified spouses, language scores, etc.. there is little chance your CRS will either remain the same of slightly increase. good luck.
