Hello team,

I am new to this forum. So I am not sure if I can ask really pre mature questions. I had taken the assistance of a immigration consultant for filing my papers and have reached till medicals. Here he is stuck and not able to give more details regarding my query.

I am applying under 0213 for me and my wife. I did my medicals last week along with my wife. But she was not able to complete her medicals as she is pregnant. The doctor has handed me my wife's xray papers and wanted me to come back after the birth of the child.

Now I have to submit RPRF . The page gave details of 550 CAD. Do I need to send a RPRF now since my wife has not completed her entire medicals? If yes, Which mode do I need to submit? Can I give a cheque or a DD or is there a way to pay online? If so, in whose name.

Also my consultant sent an email and a fax to CIC indicating my wife's pregnancy. Does CIC usually grant extra time till birth of the child? Very confused at this stage.

Thank you and God Bless.

1. The RPRF is $490/pax. In your case it is $980 [2 x pax]. It's good if u pay it now.
2. U can use either, DD or MO.
3. Your agent is right, CHC will give u an additional time, once u notify them about spouse's pregnancy.

I have seen other posts on the forum and most of seniors have suggested to wait till the child birth and get medicals done after that.

You can write a letter explaining your situation to CHC and request them to extend time for medicals and they should consider your request

As qorax mentioned fees id $490 per person and no fees for kids. You can pay the fees now. A DD can me made from any Bank. The name again will be informed by CHC but seniors who have sent RPRF can clarify on the forum

Thank you very much Ankit and Qorax. I truly appreciate your help.

I will take a DD . Any idea on whose name should I take it? The agent initially took the first DD in the name of Receiver General of Canada. The letter that i received said the amount in CAD and also in the local currency. So should I take a DD/MO in local currency or in CAD? So if someone can tell me on whose name , I would be grateful.

Also as per Ankit's post, I dont know if I have done the right thing by doing my medicals now. My wife has done all the tests except for xray. Hopefully i am in the right path. Maybe someone who has been in the situation or with immigration expertise can advice me.

Thank you again and god bless.

Thank you Qorax. Appreciate your help.

Guess I will make the payment now for me and my wife and pray that CIC extends time for my wife till the birth of our child. Hopefully by the lord's blessings, everything will go smooth.

Thank you and God Bless.
