Mobile services | Feedback on Freedom Mobile in the GTA?

Hi folks,

Seeking guidance on preferred BYOD mobile service plans to sign up for on landing:

My expected usage (canada-wide calling and ~1-2GB/ month mobile data).

I see a FreedomMobile plan @ 40 bucks which seems to fit best - any feedback on their service in the GTA?

I know that Freedom has been augmenting and enhancing its network, but I've had major issues with the service quality. From dropped calls to missed calls to limited, if any, data in certain spots, I never found Freedom reliable enough to use with my primary device.

If cost is your main concern, you might instead check Public Mobile (a Telus MVNO) or Chatr (a Rogers brand, 3G only). Much reliable network as compared to Freedom Mobile
