Hi As a newcomer which is the best mobile connection to choose
in terms of price and network.
I have phone which i used in Inda 3G...Will it support the mobiles here? so that i can take sim only

brother go for fido if u r landing in toronto...................they will provide u with the phone with the plan itself..................never go for rogers or bell...they are very costly

I lost a lot of money first by buying rogers prepaid i was not sure about the type of packages they have and the basic package cost me a lot for outgoing and also incoming. So i suggest you to buy any fido or chatr with free incoming package. It will cost you $35 every month fixed with good bundle packages.

I myself after trying two or three bought Rogers iphone pakage which is very good and cheap around in $60 i am getting lots of data and free mins.

Coverage wise rogers is good. If you are settling down then but bundle package from rogers with tv internet home phone and iphone you will save a lot.

Fido is the best. Rogers and other operators just rip you off.

To me - the Wind package of $25/month - unlimited Canada / no contract - works just fine.
And the City-Fido - of $35/month - for my iPhone4 - plus $15/month for Data - is working fine as well.

If one isn't hooked to a smartphone -- I'd recommend the WIND always/anytime... it serves the purpose@the lowest cost.
As a newcomer - save your dough... as much as u can... hold-on to it for Pete's sake !

If you get the $35 promotion package from fido then BB messenger is unlimited. As long as you have bb phone of course. I don't know about other blackberry service.

Once again - the Wind B/Berry package is pretty cool [of course 'cheap' too].
