Hi All,

I recently received my ITA and realized that in my EE form I had, by mistake, clicked on 'Yes' where they ask "Was XX awarded a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate for this period of study?" for graduation.

Because I filled 'Yes', I could not enter my WES details for graduation. I entered them in the post graduation section (which makes it technically incorrect).

I am really confused what to do. Should I reject the ITA and wait for a fresh one? Or go ahead and put correct information in the ITA application and leave it on IRCC?

I am really scared. If my application gets declined, then it will reflect negatively on my profile.

Please help!

You should reject and create a new EE profile and wait for an ITA.

Did this mistake increase your CRS score?

Decline ITA and edit the EE profile with the correct information.

Urgent advice needed.

My law degree and call to bar certificate from Nigeria was evaluated by WES as Bachelor's degree (four years) and post graduate diploma (1 year)
However, I made the mistake of choosing masters/entry to practice licensed profession for my Canadian equivalency. I have received ITA and submitted my application. I only realized my error yesterday.
What should I do??????

I still fall above the CRS score for my round after recalculating and claiming 2 degrees instead of masters/entry to licensed profession.
I'm afraid I might be penalized for misrepresentation.

Anyone kindly advice. Thank you

Any change in CRS score due to misrepresentation can result in rejection.

Other experts can verify the same

Lol, You can sue yourself since you are lawyer. Just kidding. The only thing you can do now is raising CSE request and finger-cross.

Hi! I did the same mistake! BUT I hadn't submitted my application then, so I could decline my ITA. I corrected my express entry, and since my score was good, I got it again soon!

Raise a CSE. If your score is above the cut-off score after the re-calculation as 2 or more degrees, your application will be processed as usual.
