Going through my application i released i spelled my mums middle name wrong. Can i cross it out in black, correct it and intinal it. Will that be a problem? thank you

our application was filled in by a paralegal who made a lot of mistakes, and the officer didn't care.

Yes I agree. Just before I was ready to send my app I realized I made a mistake and I was fed up already and did not feel like re printing, so all I did was cross it out with 1 line (do not scribble it out) initial it and put the correction. There will be no problem!

Cheers!

I just realized I left out N/A on 5406 additional family info. Can I write N/a in black pen rather than reprinting it?

Yes.

It's important to remember that making a correction by hand to a form that has been validated (meaning, it has a bar code page) will result in the`correction' not making it into the CIC systems. These pages are scanned by CIC, which then populates the data into their system; the bar code has no idea that a change has been made.

For minor issues, it's probably not a big deal.
