I have recently applied with my fiancé as common law partners but the migration agency stated us as married by mistake and we received ITA 2 days ago and realized their mistake. We were very angry and they are telling us that this mistake should be inconsequential because we can specify ourselves as common law when submitting the documents and that it wouldn’t change our score anyways. We are very worried and are wondering whether we should deny and reapply. It’s a stupid mistake that we want to rectify and avoid any issues down the line. Any advice?
