Mistake in application form

While applying for my study permit through paper application, I mistakenly entered the duration of my course as 17 months instead of 16 months in IMM 1294. I have also provided acceptance letter from my university which states the duration is of 16 months. Is this going to affect the decision to my visa application?

Hello junktune,

I did a similar mistake in my IMM 5710 work permit application. May I know what you did to get it approved?
Should I send the updated 5710 in the web form or just a letter of explanation is good enough?
