Misspelled name on the police certificate

Hello,

My daughter's first name was misspelled on the police certificate we received by mail (MariE instead of MariA). Nevertheless, I decided to send it as it is along with my sponsorship application and her PR application, and meanwhile, I've sent a new request for her police certificate asking to issue a new one with the correct name.

Do you think it can cause a problem? Her PR application is in London. Where should I send a new Police certificate when it arrives? To Mississauga or London?

I need your opinions.

I think you did it properly.

If you get a new PCC, you can submit it later if the CIC insist for a corrected one.

I'm not sure. If nobody answers you on this thread you could start your own. Maybe do what they did and request another with the right name on it?
