Applicant: Spouse living outside of Canada
Sponsor: Me, Canadian Citizen
So straight to the point, embarrassingly I misspelled my own family name on form imm1344e, under Sponsor(me) personal details. We've already paid, signed and submitted the application via mail as instructed with our signatures and receipts. This required my husband to sign them from where he lives in the states and mail it to me so I that I could sign them along with all the other supporting paperwork proving our marriage and the 2 specifically sized photos that they want of him. He was instructed to get his medical exam, he got it, they received it. Now I received an email saying that my information didn't match what they have on file and requested this exactly (I quoted the email):
"We verified the information you provided; however, it differs from the one we have on file.
In order to better assist you, we invite you to resubmit your request by filling out the IRCC Web form and include the following information:
Thank you in advance if you took the time to read this and answer my questions. As you can probably tell, I'm incredibly confused and stressed from such a silly mistake.
