That is weird but it is not a bad thing. Mississauga is a good VO, faster than alot of other visa offices but I heard Cairo VO is also pretty fast.

Our application has been forwarded to CPC-Mississauga today as well. My wife (PA) is from the Philippines. We're hoping for the golden PPR to come soon!

Ours was processed in Mississauga.
As an update, an application from the Philippines that was submitted on September 10, 2018 received their PPR yesterday.

My wife is from Belgium, and her PR was processed in Mississauga as well, the processing of ALL sponsorships is being done in Mississauga, and when it comes to the stage of confirmation of PR, then it will be transferred to Cairo.

AOR and SA - Oct. 23rd
Medical request - Oct. 25th
Medical done - Oct. 29th
File transferred to Mississauga email - Nov. 5th
Medical passed - Nov. 13th
Background check in progress - Nov. 22nd and nothing after that
Anyone with background check for more than 1 month? Is there any other way to find out about next stage or timeline other than ECAS, GCkey, GCMS notes?

My timeline is very similar to yours but I still can't see medical passed or Background check started in the CIC
It just shows application "in process" and medical reports received since 7th Nov
No change till now
It's been two months now. .
I have seen many applications getting ppr with the similar timeline
Can't understand where my application is? ?
Anxiety, stress cuz of this waiting
