Congrats! Do you mean they asked you to send your passport to the New York visa office instead of Ottawa? Little confused.

Thank you! And yes the passport, passport photos and Annex A are being sent to the NY VO.

Sorry, one more question. Was your application being processed in Mississauga or Ottawa prior to getting your PPR?
According to our notes Ottawa until July 17th and then it was transferred to Mississauga. I got an email from Mississauga on October 13th that they were processing our application.

Did he first get AOR2 for Ottawa only from CPC-M ? There appear to be two types of paths people have taken. Is PPR an email or one needs to check myCIC ?

We got AOR2 back in May from Ottawa and then AOR3 from Mississauga just recently. He received an email that there was a message on MyCIC.

Thanks for that. It appears that only people that got AOR2 from Ottawa have gotten their PPRs, not anyone that went straight to CPC-M.

Yah, that seems to be the case so far. Hopefully Mississauga applicants from early in the year will get their PPR soon.

Just got a notification of a message in GCKey account, almost had a heart attack, thought it was a PPR directly following decision made.
Turns out it was an invitation to use pre-arrival services provided by Government of Canada for new immigrants. Didn’t even know that a service like that existed lol

We got PPR yesterday morning. Our VO has been Mississauga, but we were told to mail the documents to Ottawa. The letter asking for the documents came from Mississauga though

Congrats! When did your get your DM? Did your GCKey update to decision made?

So happy that so many of you are finally receiving your PPRs! It is heartening to see that Mississauga, for the most part, seems to be processing in a 6-8 month window (which really isn't bad at all :))

Congrats!!

Hmmm, your info in the spreadsheet says you landed on 6th July. If you don't mind, could you please post your timeline. Thanks.

Give me a week and a bit

and I'm past the 9 month mark.

Nice to hear such good news, guys :)
We passed 7 months now...and neither we being transferred to VO (Vienna), nor received email of being processed in Mississauga. From numerous calls we have being told that our app is in Mississauga....really frustrated now. Seems like we are the only ones in such strange situation.
