Mississauga Office Applicants 2014/ 2015

Hi,
what is the story of yellow or pink letter. I got test invite on white letter. Does the color signifies anything?

GTA offices have been clogged lately but fortunately it's easing up now. Expect good news soon...

It's been 12 weeks since I've passed the test, and nothing! no letter, no "Decision Made", not even RQ.
What the hell is going on with Mississauga office ? and why does the CIC website say that people who applied after April 2015 have to wait less than people who applied before ?

I have asked the MP from my Neighbourhood to get some information from CIC.
In a week I got the respond, that in Mississauga it takes up to 6 months after the test to get the oath letter and it is contingent upon availability of a citizenship judge.

I know there are some people on this forum who wait for years to get their Oath letter and my complaint might sound lousy to them, and I won't blame them. However in the case of clogging, CIC shouldn't have told me to wait 4-6 week, but rather 4-6 months, at least in this case one can plan his life accordingly. Also the part where the oath depends on the Judge availability sounds a bit shady for me, I know people who have passed the test in July and got their oath in three weeks.

Now I can take out my tin foil hat and say that, Tories make it harder for people in more progressive constituencies to get their papers on time for the election.

I did the test on May 14, and I'm still waiting for any sort of updates. I'm starting to get worried. Do rejections usually take longer? Or am I just paranoid.

My time line:
Applied April 2014,
Processing: June 2014
Finger print request: Sept 2014
Test: March 11, 2015
Oath invitation given right on the spot after test for March 13, 2015, then cancelled it for further review
Oath invite receive today for Sept 14, 2015

I finally got my test!!!!!

I am scheduled for September 17th I'm not sure which office. They said they mailed the letter on the 27th of August so I still have to receive it.

When I get it I will update here.



Anyone else on the 17th?

I passed test on June, 2015. My status have been changed to decision made the day after my test.
I have been waiting since June and no update in my case.
How long has been your Status as the decision made?

I ordered an ATIP report on July 30th, it typically takes 30 calendar days however i haven't received it, should i be alerted??

Usually it takes 30 days but in june & july there was glitch in CIC ATIP system so due to that backlog may be some late.Regards

Best sites are v-soul.com ,apnatoronto.com, and yourlibrary.ca/citizenship
I passed my test on august 31 by 19/20.

For further review of your application? Did they tell you this? I thought when they send the oath invitation, the decision is made and no further reviews are made...

Such a big relief to see you guys in yellow .... 8) ...... Being blue for 185 & 300 odd days respectively, was soooo painful .....
Hope Mississauga/Scarborough will soon pick up the pace.

For further review of your application? Did they tell you this? I thought when they send the oath invitation, the decision is made and no further reviews are made...

I used to live in USA before moved to Canada. The CIC supervisor said he will more investigation to find out if I am living here or not.
